Mansfield’s Nicole Yost named to First Team All-PSAC Central honors
 MANSFIELD
– Nicole Yost (Antes Fort/Jersey Shore) has been selected to First Team
honors on the All-PSAC Central softball team. The All-PSAC softball teams were
announced from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office today.
Yost, a sophomore
outfielder, helped the Mountaineers to their first-ever PSAC playoff berth by
leading the team in batting average (.316), hits (31), runs (24), home runs (9),
RBI (23), slugging percentage (.643) and on-base percentage (.419).
Yost, who becomes the
first Mountaineer to earn First Team All-Conference recognition since Jess
Christ and Sytiva Seitz were named to First Team honors in 2006, started all 32
games this season and tied the school single-season home run record.
